Taken 9 members of our family for lunch here over the last two weekends and have found all the staff very very welcoming, helpful and fun. We have enjoyed all the delicious food we have eaten, of which there was no shortage, even being given extra Yorkshire’s and small jugs of extra gravy. I had the best brownie ever! Apple crumble yum! Ginger ice cream amazing and all Sunday roast gorgeous. One of us had a burger which was also delicious. The staff could not be more obliging. Drinks and food arrive very promptly and our vegan family member was catered for very well. It is a beautiful place in a lovely spot on the river. We did not know it had been refurbished having only recently spotted it when passing by and thought it looked very attractive. We had such a good time the first weekend that we brought more family this weekend and enjoyed it just as much. Marvellous place, marvellous staff, marvellous food which we would highly recommend to anyone.
